i think my computer has a virus any help?
ISYP asked:
i think my computer might have a virus. when i launch an internet explorer it brings up a page that says: Internet activity. Threat of virus attack
Due to insecure Internet browsing your PC can easily get infected with viruses, worms and trojans without your knowledge, and that can lead to system slowdown, freezes and crashes.
Also insecure Internet activity can result in revealing your personal information.
To get full advanced real-time protection for PC and Internet activity, register your antivirus software.
We recommend you to protect your PC now and continue safe Internet browsing.

Continue to this website unprotected (not recommended).
if i click to protect it, it took me to some website that was reviewing anti virus software. i already have virus software, and i ran a full scan, and it found nothing.
also, when i am on an internet explorer page it just shuts off for no reason.
lastly, i get a box up that tells me to “enable protection” on my comptuer, but then takes me to the same website as before.
please help!

It sound like you have been infected with a rouge program. They are a scam saying if you pay they will get rid of infection. Download the 2 anti spywares I have listed and do a full system scan.
These AV`s are all free and good. I prever AVG, been using it for 3 years with no problem.-…
You also could use some good anti spyware;…
You should also download 1 of these programs to warn you of risky websites.
How to remove Fake Software (e.g. Antivirus 2009), Spyware, Trojans and Viruses:
Download, install, update and scan your computer with both Malwarebytes and SuperantiSpyware, delete what ever they find, if this fails to completely remove the virus/spyware download then update Avast and run a boot scan (click schedule boot-time scan and restart your PC), all the software below is free and safe to use.
Malwarebytes:
SuperantiSpyware:
Avast Anti-Virus:
To protect your PC in the future you’ll need to install anti-virus software and a firewall, id recommend using Avast and Comodo Pro firewall both are very effective and completely free, you should also switch to Firefox 3 if you are browsing with IE as its much safer and a lot easier to use. Does it keep directing you to Windows Defender page? (an anti-virus product page). I had that happen about a week ago, a virus called Ispynow. I was getting alerts, but it got by Norton anti-virus. Anyway, I went to malwarebytes.com, it scanned safe mode found infected registry files and file folders, it took care of it. Good Luck!
in safe mode F8 run malwarebytes anti-malware and SUPERAntispyware, and what they find you
delete it manually. then run ccleaner to cleand your pc, and mvregclean, to clean registry.
what mvregclean find you remove because the key is there but not the file ,folder or program.
even you reformat and it finds anything remove dont be afraid.
