What’s the best antivirus software on the market today for Windows Vista? I’m looking for an effective antivirus, but don’t want a resource hog. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    AVG is definitely NOT a ressource hog. I replaced Norton AV, Kaspersky, RAV32 and others with AVG, and I always happy with my choice.
    It also works well on Vista, I have that for months now, as well as before on XP.

    AVG free by grisoft is THE single best free antivirus program out there for windows.
