Should I uninstall anti virus software on a computer that will not be connecting to the internet?
zoe50 asked:
I have a computer that has Norton Anti virus software already installed. I will only be using that computer for term papers, photos, etc. and will not connect it to the internet. I have another PC already connected. So should I uninstall the anti virus software?

If you load a file from an infected machine via USB / CD / Floppy onto an unprotected computer you are at risk.
just turn it off like I do.
Having it installed and turned off is the same as having it uninstalled, but if you ever need it then you just need to turn it on.
